Fans of Nintendo have been anticipating new updates about the Nintendo NX that will be released in March 2017. However, the gaming giant already made it clear that they will not be focusing on the Nintendo NX in this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Instead, the company will focus more on one of their upcoming games, “Legend of Zelda.”
There were concerns being raised regarding Nintendo’s E3 plans. According to Huffington Post, the company is making a risky move taking their new main console out of the spotlight in the fast approaching E3 this coming June. In the past E3s, new consoles that were being released in the market such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even Wii U were featured by the gaming consoles’ companies.
Another concern that was brought up regarding the Nintendo NX is its unconventional release date. New gaming consoles were usually released during the holidays or before the Christmas season starts in order to create more sales.
There is a possibility that Nintendo is waiting for more games to be developed that may also be launched in line with the launch of the console as reported by Express.
On the other hand, Fans of the “Legend of Zelda” franchise are aware that the new title will be released along with the new gaming console in 2017. It is reported that the new video game that Nintendo will feature in E3 may be Nintendo NX’s launch game. In addition, fans of Nintendo were dismayed that only a few video game titles will be featured during E3 by the company.
No exact release date has been announced for the NX by Nintendo.
