Unravel’s EA Access trial will be limited to the first two levels of the game when it goes live early next month, EA has confirmed.

Available on Xbox One and PC, the trial will still be playable for a total of 10 hours, meaning EA/Origin Access subscribers will be able to replay the game’s opening any number of times within the time limit, but they won’t be able to progress beyond the first two levels.

Subscribers will, however, be able to continue their progress if they decide to pick up the full game once it’s released.

Unravel’s trial is due to launch on February 4, five days prior to the full game’s release on February 9.

EA announced Origin Access last night as an alternative to EA Access, granting PC users the option to play a range of downloadable games for a monthly subscription. A subscription to each service costs £3.99/month.
